Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon (1988 - 1994).
General Internship at the Lisbon Civil Hospitals (1995 - 1996).
Complementary Internship in Medical Pediatrics at Dona Estefânia Hospital (1997 - 2003).
Differentiation in Developmental Pediatrics, including internships in Portuguese centers and in the Kennedy Krieger Institute at John Hopkins Hospital, USA (2006 - 2007).
Pediatrician at the Child and Adolescent Centre of the Hospital Cuf Descobertas, responsible for the Development Centre (2003 - 2022).
Author and co-author of several publications, communications and posters in Portuguese and international scientific meetings.
Trainer in post-graduation courses in the area of Neurodevelopment of Children and Adolescents and in Pediatrics, in Nova Medical School, Faculty of Medical Sciences of Lisbon, as well as in workshops and sessions for parents and other professionals.
