Complementary Residency in Ophthalmology at the Ophthalmology Department of Hospital de Santo António.
Since 2009 Hospital Assistant in Refractive-Implant Surgery and Medical Retina.
Since 2017, coordinator of the Medical Retina divison of the Ophthalmology department at Hospital de Santo António.
Professional internship at the Ophthalmological Center in New York, focusing on the areas of Refractive Surgery and Retina
European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology in Lugano, Switzerland (2011).
Certification in Angiography by the Vienna Reading Center.
Researcher in national and international clinical trials in the field of Medical Retina.
Member of Sociedade Portuguesa de Oftalmologia - SPO (Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology), Grupo de Estudos em Retina -GER (Retina Studies Group), Sociedad Espanola de Retina y Vitreo -SERV, European Society of Retina Specialists -EURETINA and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS).
