Urology Hospital Assistant since 2007.
Consultant as per the medical career and the Ministry of Health since July 2018.
Postgraduate course in Sexual Medicine from Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa.
Internship in laparoscopic and robotic surgery at Clinique Saint-Augustin in Bordeaux under the guidance of Dr. Richard Gaston and Dr. Thierry Piechaut.
Training Course in da Vinci® Robotic Surgery, in Santander.
Differentiation in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery (da Vinci System®) (oncological and non-oncological) of the prostate, kidney and bladder, endoscopic and percutaneous renal lithiasis surgery, pelvic prolapses and female urinary incontinence surgery.
Responsible for the oncological and non-oncological laparoscopic surgery unit at Centro Hospitalar do Tâmega e Sousa and for the implementation of percutaneous renal surgery (2007 – 2010).
Trainer certified by the American Medical Systems (AMS), for Portugal in GreenLight® vaporization technique for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
Certified by Boston Scientific in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Surgery with the REZUM® System
