Degree in Medicine in 1987 from Nova Medical School, Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Completed the Orthopedics and Traumatology residency at the Hospital de Sant’Ana, in Parede, in 1997.
Responsible for the Foot and Ankle consultation at Hospital de Sant’Ana since 2002.
Joined the project of Hospital Lusíadas Lisboa since its beginning in 2007.
Dedicated to ankle and foot surgery, always innovating with the most recent and effective therapeutic methods.
Percutaneous Foot Surgery - a mini-invasive technique of enormous advantage due to its reduced aggressiveness and with great success in the treatment of bunions.
Faculty member for the practical course on cadaveric surgery using this technique.
