Clinical Director of the Radioncology Service at Hospital Espírito Santo, Évora (September 2009 - March 2020 ), where Radiotherapy using VMAT with Rapid Arv was implemented for the first time in Portugal.
Radioncologist and later Head of the Radioncology Unit at Quadrantes - Lisbon (2002 - 2008), where he started the 1st IMRT treatment in Portugal.
First prostatic brachytherapy implant at the former Urology Institute (later British Hospital) in 1999 after 2 training courses in Seattle.
Radioncology Consultant at the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Lisbon (1990 - March 2020).
