Breve CV

Degree in Medicine from ICBAS-HGSA, University of Porto (1992 - 1998).
He specialized in Neurology (2001 - 2005) and completed a postgraduate course in Management and Direction of Health Services at the University of Oporto Business School (2009 - 2010).
He is a member of the Board of the Portuguese Stroke Society (since 2011).
Member of the Board of the College of Neurology Specialty of the Portuguese Medical Association (2012 - 2021).
In 2011 he co-founded Neuroinova, a company dedicated to the research and development of technologies in the field of cognitive rehabilitation and the commercialization of the COGWEB®, Brain on Track® and CACAO® systems.
He completed his PhD in Health Sciences and Technologies at the University of Aveiro in 2014.
He is a member of the Epidemiological Research Unit of the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (since 2015), where he coordinates the Cognitive Deficit associated with Diseases of the Nervous System laboratory.
Since 2016, he has been head of the Neurology Service at Hospital Pedro Hispano, ULS de Matosinhos.
Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at ULS Matosinhos (2018 - 2023).
