Degree in Medicine from the University of Coimbra in 2008.
Started postgraduate medical training in January 2009, with completion of the Common Year residency at Hospitais da Universidade de Coimbra. In the academic year 2008/2009 initiated the Integrated Master's in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra.
On January 1, 2010, joined the Residency Program for Specialty Training in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the ENT Department of Hospital de Braga, which ended on December 31, 2014.
Passed the final medical residency exam in April 2015, obtained the degree of Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
In July 2015 started working as an ENT Hospital Assistant at Hospital de Braga.
During the academic and professional career, completed four internships, at Hospital Universitario Son Espases, Spain (2013), Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto, Portugal (2013), Hospital Cuf Infante Santo, Portugal (2014), Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Integrata di Verona, Italy (2019), in the area of Immunoallergology, Head and Neck Oncology, Otoneurology and Otology and skull base surgery, respectively.
Belongs to the specialty training coordination group of the ENT Department at Hospital de Braga, (GFM, ENT), and is in charge of supervising an ENT residency in the department.
Author of several publications on Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Invited assistant for the 5th year of the Integrated Master's in Medicine she has been teaching in the area of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical School, University of Minho, between 2014 – 2020.
Currently a PhD student in Medicine at the School of Medicine, University of Minho.
