Completed the Degree in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon in 2006, with a final classification of 17 out of 20.Common Year residency at Centro Hospitalar do Alto Minho between 2007 and 2008.
Obtained a classification of 92% in the admission exam for the Specialty Training residency.
Initiated the residency in Ophthalmology at Hospital de São Marcos, Braga in 2008.
Attended an internship in Cornea and External Ocular Surface at Hospitais da Universidade de Coimbra, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Joaquim Murta in January 2011 and a Retina internship at the Institut de Microcirurgia Ocular (Barcelona), under the guidance of Dr. Borja Corcóstegui in September 2011.
Completed the Ophthalmology Internship in April 2012, with a final grade of 18.9.
Obtained the title of Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology after an examination carried out in Paris in April 2012.
Currently at Hospital de Braga and Hospital de Santa Maria Maior, in the Medical and Surgical Retina section.
