Psychiatrist at Hospital Magalhães Lemos (1985-2011) where he was Coordinator of Forensic Psychiatry (FP) and Coordinator of the FP Unit.
Coordinator of the Psychiatry and Psychology Unit at Hospital Lusíadas Porto since 2016.
Associate Lecturer at ISMAI, where he was President of the Scientific Board (2010 - 2018) and, since 2020, President of the Ethics Committee.
Member of i3S. National Medical Council President of the FP Subspecialty.
