Telemedicine: What Is It

Lusíadas aims to continue taking care of you and your entire family with the utmost guarantee of safety. We have created an online medical consultation service that will allow you to avoid traveling to our facilities.

This service has already been agreed upon with the main insurance companies and healthcare subsystems. For customers who are beneficiaries of insurance and healthcare subsystems but have not yet contracted this new service, the contracted in-person consultation fee will be made available (see more information below).

Therefore, through your smartphone or computer, you can easily access a telemedicine consultation with our specialists from the comfort and safety of your home.

How to schedule a telemedicine consultation?

  1. Schedule a specialty telemedicine consultation through: +Lusíadas (App or Portal), Digital Assistant "Lusi" via Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger, Contact Center, or in-person at a Lusíadas facility.
  2. An alert will be sent when there are 5 minutes left until the start of the consultation, with the access link.
  3. Click on the link to start the consultation. The link will work in the vast majority of browsers, on desktop, tablet, or smartphone, without the need to install any software or app. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the tool has a chat feature that will provide you with all the necessary support.
  4. After the consultation is completed, make your appointments for subsequent consultations or exams on the Portal, App, or Contact Center, if prescribed by the doctor. All clinical documents, such as prescriptions and medical certificates, will be sent by email if not successfully transmitted through the telemedicine platform by the doctor.
  5. Payment instructions will be sent by email/SMS on the same day or the next business day. You can proceed with the payment through +Lusíadas, via the App or Portal, or through the usual means.

Financial entities that support telemedicine: Allianz | Future Healthcare | Médis CTT | Multicare | Multicare PT ACS | RNA Medical | Serviços Sociais da CGD | SAMS SIB

For customers who are beneficiaries of insurance and healthcare subsystems but have not yet contracted this telemedicine service, we will allow them to access this service at the contracted fee for consultations.

Beneficiaries of ADSE, ADM/IASFA, SAD PSP, and SAD GNR will have access to a specific fee schedule created by the Lusíadas Saúde Group for non-conventional procedures.
